Organisational Announcement
Crewe 19th January 2004
Building upon the successful launch of Continental
GT, Bentley is now set for a major business turnaround
during 2004 and 2005. We continue to review all
aspects of our business to ensure that we optimise
this progress.
In light of this we have undertaken a fundamental
review of our communications processes. From 1st
February 2004 Adrian Hallmark, Member of the Board,
Sales & Marketing, will assume direct responsibility
for both Public Relations and Sales & Marketing
activities.
This change will enable us to integrate Marketing
and PR activities to maximise their impact and
enable us to realise synergies between these two
key externally facing business areas.
Within PR three operational roles will report
to Adrian, responsible for Product, Corporate
and Lifestyle PR worldwide. This will enable us
to simplify and streamline our communication processes
worldwide.
As a result of these changes, Worldwide Communications
Director, Sarah Perris, has decided to leave the
Company. In the four years Sarah has been with
Bentley she has led the PR Department through
the transition from Rolls-Royce & Bentley
Motor Cars to Bentley Motors; enhanced our reputation
and image in the press through our Le Mans programme
and successfully launched Continental GT and Series
2 Arnage to the press. The Company wish her the
very best for her future career.
